Introducing The Gopez Clan!

Azucena (Lola) –

Azucena, or Zena, generally goes by Lola, meaning Grandma in Tagalog. You know how once the babies are born you go from your name being what you respond to, to only responding to your title? Yea, that happened with us. So, Zena tends to be Lola. She’s only 17, don’tchya know (71, she’s 71 and in denial). Zena moved from the Philippines to The United States in 1997, and has been in California since then, but now that’s all about to change! We’re starting an adventure, and Zena, Warrior Princess (we call her Witch Princess, look for my book based loosely on Lola!) is coming along for the ride!

Annie (Tita) –

Annie, Annie, Annie. Annie is a ball of energy and obliviousness at the ripe young age of 43 (44 in 2021!). She joined us in the States in ’97 as well, and has been causing a ruckus ever since. If you hear yelling, just ignore it, it’s probably Lola and Tita bickering like old wives! Annie enjoys watching shows, gambling, dancing, and Karaoke! She loves to have fun with friends and family, but is currently stuck inside and relatively bored like the rest of us.

Arianna (Ari/Buttmunch/Arichu) –

Arianna got the nickname Buttmunch Baby because she thought it was funny as a child to literally, bite people’s butts. Now she’s 9 and we’re getting ready to go on a grand old adventure, and let me tell you, she is stoked to be moving after all this ‘Rona! Ari has dreams of being a YouTube star, or maybe a deep sea diver, or a singer… I’m guessing she’ll end up as a YouTubing mermaid who entertains or something equally unimaginable! She helps with the testing of our games, reads some of our books, writes her own books, and spends her days dreaming up amazing universes where the limitations we have in this one don’t apply!

Albert (Favorite person) –

Albert is the amazing love of my life, and the glue that binds our family together. Without him we’d all have gone mad by now. He grounds my crazy and move his lazy! (joking, really!) He’s super hard working but is more of a thinker than a doer, so sometimes I have to give him the proverbial smack on the ass to get him moving, and oftentimes he has to give me the proverbial tie down to keep my head from floating off into space. He is my primary Beta tester in all things: he reads my books first, tests the game mechanics, makes sure everything works right and lets me know when it isn’t, as well as giving me what seem like common sense suggestions that I completely miss (common sense isn’t so common!). Albert handles most of the hands-on things: he drives the RV, installs the water heaters and other mechanical stuff, hooks us up and unhooks when it’s time to leave. Together we decided to begin this adventure, and the others are just along for the ride!

Krystal (me!) –

I write. I program. I art. I game. I invest. I’ve got so much going on in my head and in my heart that I often find myself starting ten things and finishing only two. That’s why this site has been up for a year and the first post hasn’t occurred until now! Arianna, Albert, and I all have amazing, wonderful, and engaging stories to tell, and it’s my job to make sure they get recorded and shared with the world. Sometimes I do the artwork and cover design, sometimes I outsource it because OMG so much stuff! I’m also working on a pet project that Albert and I got super excited for: making one of my book series into a video game! I’m currently programming, 3D modelling, and world building for our dream game. As I move further along into this pioneer project, I’ll of course post more details, but right now it’s just me working and Albert checking my sometimes-excessive ambitions!

Legacy (Ninja Puss/Fatty Catty) –

This chonky boy is my rather large kitty. He’s the laziest cat I’ve ever met who literally cares about nothing but food, sleep, and nightly scritches. He’s a void kitty with a difficult start to life that traumatized him enough that he tries to gorge on food. We love him, even if he is a greedy feline bastard.

Rascal (Rabbit) –

Rascally Rabbit has adopted Ari and Albert as his chosen humans. He’s a furry fiend who loves belly rubs and scritches, begs for scraps of meat, and steals French fries if you’re not careful! If we can’t find him Albert can scratch his leg and Rascal will come running!
